2005-06 Rules for Biddee League Basketball

1. Every player must play two full quarters "one quarter in each half".
Failure to do so will result in a forfeit.

2. The game will consist of four 8 minute quarters. The clock will run
continuously until the last minute of the second quarter and fourth quarter.

3. The clock will stop for time-outs and injuries.

4. Lane Time:

5th & 6th grade boys/girls ... 3 seconds in lane.
3rd & 4th grade boys/girls ... 5 seconds in lane.

5. Press Rule:

5th & 6th grade boys/girls ... 15 point lead
3rd & 4th grade boys/girls ... 2nd and 4th quarter only.

6. Free Throws

5th & 6th grade boys/girls ... Regulation
3rd & 4th grade boys/girls ... Modified

7. Four time-outs per game.

8. Overtime play will be 2 minutes with each team gaining an additional time-out.
The clock will continuously run until the last minute.

9. All coaches must remain seated during the games. This is your warning.

10. Each team is permitted to have two coaches sitting on the bench.

11. Each team will be assigned a duty before or after his or her game, failure in
not working or cleaning will result in a forfeited game.

12. Sportsmanship is a point of emphasis this season; before, during and after all games.
This involves all players, coaches and fans.

13. All other rules will be played by O.H.S.A.A rule book.
