Universal Draft Rules

DRAFT SELECTION PROCESS

1. All players will be in the draft. The head coach's child will automatically
be placed on the team he/she is coaching.

2. The head coach will draft players from the draft list. The draft order will
be determined by pulling numbers from a hat.

3. Siblings are automatically placed on the same team.

4. There are no assistant coaches heading into the draft.

5. Any child may be drafted by any team. Parents may request a specific coach
or team, but the draft selection process is not required to honor that request.

6. Once the draft is final, no player will be moved from one team to another team.

7. If there is a problem with the draft selection or your child's team or coach,
contact Recreation Director Scot Sturgill at 418-8632.

8. Parents may discuss the matter at the next regular Recreation Board meeting.
The Recreation Board has the sole authority to change a player's team or status.
